JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a talented Web Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of visually appealing and user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern design principles, front-end development techniques, and a passion for creating engaging online experiences. As a Web Designer, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into effective web designs that align with our brand and user expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and create visually appealing and intuitive websites using industry-standard design tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, target audience, and business goals.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to present design concepts and gather feedback.
- Create and optimize graphics, images, and other visual elements for web use.
- Ensure consistent branding and visual style across all web properties.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to implement designs and ensure technical feasibility.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
- Stayup-to-date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Troubleshoot design and layout issues and provide effective solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree/ College Degree
- Proven experience as a web designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.
- Strong skills in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and a mobile-first approach.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and experience working with popular CMS platforms.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work night shift
